Every year when Apple launches a new phone, we see some DIY people adapting their iphone. This year’s iphone x is no exception, and a video blogger recently converted his iphone x into a transparent version that looks full of air.
The blogger shared his own methods of production in the video. He used a hot-air gun to remove the black glass behind the shell, and then with a blade to the glass back plate of black paint a little bit down, only to retain the glass shell of the apple and the “IPhone” two logo, and finally formed a transparent glass back shell.
In order to maximize the “transparent phone”, the blogger also set the previous ifixit share of the iphone x internal structure into a lock screen wallpaper, lit the screen after more technology.
From the video that the blogger shares, although the iphone x uses a double-sided glass design, it is not particularly laborious to remove the back panel glass, if you are also a DIY talent, or some demolition experience, diy a “Transparent iphone X” is also relatively easy.
